“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit-just as you were called to one hope when you were called- one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:3-6

  1. Wanda Edwards says:

    My husband Jay has a very high PSA number. Please pray it will go way down & that he WON’T get prostate cancer! He also needs miracle healing of his endless tinnitus! May our Lord Jesus bless you all. In Him alone, Wanda Edwards

  2. Jamal Cheatham says:

    Pray for my mind because satan is fighting me in my mind. Pray that God will free me in my mind and thought thinking. Pray that my mind would stay on the Lord and Kingdom of God, Jamal.

  3. Jamal, thanks for reaching out – the mind is indeed the battlefield many times in spiritual warfare. Here are some scriptures you may find helpful;

    God gives us a sound mind –
    II Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

    We can put on the armor of God to wage spiritual warfare –
    Ephesians 6:10-20, “12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people…”

    Our thought life is critically important –
    Philippians 4:4-9, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”

    II Corinthians 10:4-6, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”

    May the Lord richly bless you as you seek Him, Jamal, and we would also like to invite you to give us a call here at Love Inc., if you would like to pray with someone or we would be happy to put you in contact with a pastor to pray with as well. May the Lord bless you for seeking Him, and reaching out during this difficult time. We prayed as a staff for you to receive God’s peace and comfort this morning, and will continue to be in prayer for you.
