What is a TEA Partner?
TEA stands for Transformation through Encouragement and Accountability.
A TEA Partner is someone that partners with and encourages qualified clients on the journey of life.
When a person is in crisis they need help and encouragement navigating their present circumstances and gaining confidence that they can tackle the big things in life requiring the learning of new life skills. Hence, the vision of an ongoing mentoring program where clients can be teamed with a “Tea Partner” for a couple months at a time. The hope is that working with a mentor would provide encouragement and accountability for the client to make attainable changes that they can identify themselves (with help from their mentor). As the relationship develops specific areas of needed training can be identified and then Love INC can connect that client to existing classes and programs offered in the community and within our partner churches.
The 15th Anniversary Celebration was a huge success. We had a ton of fun and got to see old friends and meet new ones. Thank you to all that attended. Below are a few pictures of the event.
