LOVE INC GAP MINISTRIES
Gap ministries evolve and change depending on the need and resources of the community. The goal of a Love INC ministry is to not duplicate existing programs or ministries, but to provide a unique service or resources to meet ongoing needs. We are happy to work with your church to develop a gap ministry to meet specific needs in the community.
Although gap ministries are hosted at different churches, each one welcomes support from all Love INC churches. Your donations of time, talent, and money help these ministries meet the needs of our Juneau neighbors.
Cleaning Supplies housed by: Northern Light United Church: Needs all the basics- brooms, mops, household cleaning products.
Kitchen Supplies housed by: Love INC. Warehouse: Pots, baking pans, silverware, crockpots, cooking utensils.
King’s Closet (Adult clothing) housed by: United Pentecostal Church:All adult clothing (open intermittently)
Baby Furniture housed by: Love INC Warehouse: Cribs, mattresses, pack-n-plays.
Baby Care housed by: Juneau Pregnancy Resource Center: Diapers, wipes, clothes up to 2T
Personal Care housed by: Chapel by the Lake: Shaving supplies (shaving cream/razors), toothbrushes/toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, etc.
Food Ministry housed by: Chapel by the Lake: All non-perishable non-expired items.
Linen Ministry housed by: Chapel by the Lake: Pillows, blankets, towels, sheets (twin – queen)
Furniture Ministry housed by: Love INC Warehouse: Small tables, chairs, couches, dressers, beds (Twin, Queen, Full)
Transition Backpacks housed by: Holy Trinity: (folks leaving prison)Needs L-3X sweat pants/shirts, boxers, socks, gloves, hats, shoes and anything fleece.
Random Acts of Kindness: Call Love INC and volunteer your talents.
